M&H Employee Spotlight — Kevin Richardson

VP of Human Capital Management

This month’s employee spotlight shines on one of our leaders, Kevin Richardson (no affiliation with the Backstreet Boys). His vast knowledge, deep expertise, and exceptional leadership skills continue to elevate M&H each and every day.

Joe Morreal, one of our treasured HCM Implementation and Support Specialists, worked with Kevin in the past, and now works for him again at M&H! Here's what he says about his experience working with Kevin:

"Kevin is the kind of Manager who empowers their employees and is genuinely interested in their professional development - that is what Kevin is all about.  He guides, mentors, teaches and supports as the knowledge is being absorbed and understood.  He wants the members of his Team to be self-sufficient and supports them 100%.   While driven to doing a great job and meeting -- if not exceeding a customer’s expectations -- he isn’t a stranger to having fun with Team Building Exercises and work appropriate riddles or jokes."

A Career Rooted in Payroll and HCM Excellence

With over 30 years in the Payroll, HR, and Workforce Management (HCM) industry, Kevin brings an incredible depth of experience and leadership to the M&H team.
He began his career as a Payroll Specialist, manually keying phone and fax payrolls, before moving into Implementation and Acquisition Onboarding—helping newly purchased service bureaus integrate seamlessly.

Kevin later joined a large national HCM provider, where he spent eight years advancing through roles in Time & Attendance Support, Support Team Lead, and Support Supervisor at the St. Louis Center of Excellence. He eventually became a Time Implementation Consultant, leading numerous Fortune 500 Time Implementations and building a reputation for excellence in complex workforce solutions.

Becoming a Leader in UKG Ready Solutions

Fifteen years ago, Kevin joined an Atlanta-based firm that had just become one of the first licensed partners for what is now UKG Ready (Moulton & Hardin OneSource).
He quickly became known across the Partner Community and among UKG staff for his expertise in complex implementations and ability to deliver solutions even beyond the product’s original scope.
Kevin also led Roundtables and Seminar Events at the annual Partner Community Workshops, helping shape best practices for partners nationwide.

His career continued with two other UKG partners, where he:

  • Lead major Time & Labor projects across municipal, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors

  • Managed clients averaging over 1,000 employees

  • Built a UKG Ready business from the ground up, reaching $1.5 million in revenue in under two years

Driving Growth and Excellence at M&H

Recruited by Paul Hardin, whom he met through Partner Conferences, Kevin joined M&H in 2023 to revamp and strengthen the company’s service, implementation, and team models.
Since joining, his impact has been remarkable:

  • Expanded the M&H team with seasoned UKG veterans

  • Launched the Webinar Series, Company Newsletter, and Client Surveys

  • Enhanced Support Tracking Tools and company metrics

  • Created new growth opportunities for internal staff

  • Achieved zero turnover during his tenure

Outside the Office

Kevin is a proud dad of three: a UGA Honors College sophomore, a freshman at Georgia Southern, and a high school sophomore. He shares his home with Wilson, his fluffy Aussiedoodle, and enjoys reading, playing and watching soccer, and catching as many live concerts as possible. A self-described music fan, Kevin’s passion for rhythm and connection carries through everything he does.

Looking Ahead

Kevin sees “a very bright future for everyone associated with the OneSource platform” — with ongoing growth in team development, client education, process improvement, and partnership with UKG. With Kevin’s energy and experience leading the way, the future looks bright for M&H and our OneSource team!

Why your referrals are the greatest compliment to M&H

As our business grows, we've found that the best clients often come from the most valued source: you. Current client referrals are truly special to us. Instead of a typical advertisement or cold email campaign, we believe the greatest endorsements are personal recommendations from satisfied clients.

The Power of a Personal Recommendation

Think about the last time a friend recommended a fantastic restaurant or a trusted mechanic. You likely took their advice without hesitation because their endorsement carried more weight than any advertisement. This "social proof" is at the heart of why referrals are so powerful.

When you recommend M&H, you’re not just sending a name; you’re transferring the trust we’ve built to someone else. This allows us to focus on what we do best—providing outstanding service—rather than spending time and resources on traditional marketing.

So, how can you help?

It's simple. The next time you speak with a friend, family member, or colleague who could benefit from our services, please keep don't keep us a secret. You can share Jimmy Toner's contact information directly or make a personal introduction over email at: jtoner@mh1s.com.

Thank you again for your continued support and partnership, and for being a loyal part of our business. It is because of clients like you that we love what we do.
